We accept submission of any story, facts, or description of events
about everyday heroes. Hero's stories can be about any person
or animal of any age as long as they have performed good deeds
to earn hero status.
We reserve the right to review your submission and publish only
those stories that we feel are appropriate. We have the right
to accept or reject a story based solely on the Helpful Heroes
criteria. We also have the right to publish your story on the
Helpful Heroes Web site and in our
monthly Hero Newsletter. All
accepted stories become the property of HelpfulHeroes.com. Stories
will be subject to copy editing, proofreading, and reformatting
for the Web site and for the newsletter.
We are looking for the facts surrounding the events that transpired.
All stories will be checked and verified for accuracy. You do
not need to create a complete, well written story. All we need
is the facts surrounding the people and events. Of course you
are free to write your own story with the understanding that it
may be edited and changed as we see fit, but you can also simply
send us the following info and we will create the written story
based on the facts you submit and any other pertinent material
we discover in our research of the incidents.
Required Information for Your Hero's Tale:
- Names of the people involved
- Location of the events
- Dates and times
- Description of the events
- What makes this is a hero's tale?
